things that make you go hmmm...

Karen Huff Klein, a bus monitor at the Greece Central School District in Rochester, New York was the subject recently of horrendous bullying by teens. The incident was caught on tape and posted on YouTube.

Outraged, someone on Reddit got the band together and helped raise $270,000 (and counting) as a way to say I'm sorry.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in New York, a gay teen named Kardin Ulysse, has been left partially blinded following a brutal attack by schoolmates who may have targeted him because of his perceived sexual orientation.

You know what he got? Zilch. Nada. Zip.

Talk about metaphors.

Worse yet, Dennis Walcott, the Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education has been downplaying the incident.

And it seems no one is giving a damn because they're all too busy at the clubs getting drunk from it being Pride Week.

But no one should be surprised.  After all, this whole community has gone blind to victims like Kardin and others who keep having to jump thru hoops just to get some help and support.

Can't blame GOProud for that.

Gays willing to kiss up to their oppressors in order to gain an advantage over others is a way of life here.
